Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
This page explains exactly what we ask for when you register, what we do with it, where it is stored, and who can see it. Written in plain language, with nothing hidden.

What we collect
All of it comes from the registration form itself. We do not buy data and we do not receive it from any third party.
1) Identity and contact details
- Full name. So we can address you and match your registration to your WhatsApp messages.
- WhatsApp number. This is the main channel we use throughout the programme.
- Email address. A backup route if WhatsApp fails.
- Country, and the governorate if you are in Egypt. To organise groups and set lecture times that work across time zones.
- University and graduation year. To understand the cohort and order the content accordingly.
2) Professional and fellowship details
- Level (resident / specialist / consultant).
- Employer and hospital. The hospital field is optional.
- Fellowship year and fellowship duration.
- Target exam round.
- Whether you have sat Part II before, and how many times. The number of attempts only appears if you answer "yes".
3) Entirely optional preferences
Every one of these is optional, and leaving them blank does not stop your registration: the topics you find hardest, what you hope to get out of the programme, your suggestions, how you heard about us, whether you intend to join the full programme, the lecture format you prefer, how important a question bank is to you, and any notes or questions you write.
We use them to prioritise content — nothing else about you depends on these answers.
4) Consent
Registration cannot be submitted until you tick the box agreeing that we may contact you on WhatsApp about lecture dates and Zoom links. We also store the version number of the privacy policy that was in force at the moment you agreed, so it is always clear what you consented to.
5) Technical data captured automatically
- Campaign source parameters (the UTM tags in the link: source, medium, campaign, content).
- The page you arrived from (the referrer).
- Your browser's user-agent string (browser type and operating system).
These three exist only so we can measure and improve the advertising. Without them we cannot tell which ad actually brings colleagues in and which one wastes money.
How we use your data
- Contacting you on WhatsApp. Lecture dates, Zoom links, and any change to the schedule.
- Organising the group. Adding you to the colleagues' group and arranging cohorts and timings.
- Improving the content and the plan. Your optional answers help us order topics around what most candidates struggle with.
- Measuring advertising campaigns. Using the technical data above, in aggregate.
We do not use your data for anything else. Nothing is sold, nothing is rented, and nothing is shared with third parties for marketing.
Storage, backups and retention
- Where it lives. A private, access-restricted project file that only the programme team can open. The website itself does not store your data anywhere else.
- Daily backup. A copy is taken automatically once a day and we keep the last seven copies only — anything older is removed automatically.
- Retention period. REPLACE_WITH_RETENTION_PERIOD — after which records are deleted or reduced to aggregate numbers with no personal data.
- If you want out at any point. Message us on WhatsApp or by email with your registration number and we delete your record.
Sharing and payments
No sharing with third parties
Your data is not sold and not shared with anyone else. The only exception would be a clear legal obligation that requires us to do so.
No payment data in this phase
The free phase has no fee, so we do not collect or store payment data of any kind — no card numbers, no bank details, no e-wallets. The form has no payment field at all.
Cookies and advertising pixels
The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. The only thing that can run here is the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the TikTok pixel — tools that tell the platform someone reached the page or registered, so the advertising can be improved.
Important: these pixels do not load automatically. They run only if the programme operator has entered a pixel ID in the project settings. While that setting is empty, no advertising script is downloaded to your browser at all.
If they do run, they see that you visited the page or completed a registration — your name, your number and your form answers are never sent to them.
You can switch tracking off in your browser settings, or in the ad settings of your account on those platforms.
What your browser keeps on your device
These stay on your own device and are never sent to anyone.
- Your registration confirmation — for 30 days. We keep your registration number, your name and the next lecture so the thank-you page can show them without you registering again. After 30 days it clears itself.
- A dismissed-banner marker. So an announcement bar you closed does not keep coming back.
- The campaign source (UTM). Saved on your first visit so it can travel with your registration.
- A short-lived copy of the site settings. Held in session storage for one minute so pages open faster, and gone when you close the tab.
Clearing your browser data removes all of this — and has no effect at all on your registration with us.
Your rights and how to reach us
- See your data. You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correct anything wrong. Changed your number or your hospital? Tell us and we update it.
- Delete your data entirely. We then stop contacting you and remove you from the group.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. No explanation needed.

Terms of use
The free phase
The free phase carries no fee and no obligation. Attend what suits you, then decide afterwards whether you want to continue with the full programme. On our side, we may adjust lecture dates or the order of topics, and we tell you on WhatsApp when we do.
Intellectual property
All programme content — lectures, recordings, files, questions and the Handbook — is protected by intellectual property rights. It may not be sold, shared, republished or forwarded to anyone without prior written permission. Joining gives you a personal right of use only.
Independence
PassBoard is an independent educational programme. It is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the Egyptian Health Council or the Egyptian Board, and no provider can guarantee an exam result.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything on this page we update the last-updated date above and the policy version, and we announce anything significant in the WhatsApp group. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
