Walk into Part II of the Egyptian Fellowship of General Surgery with confidence

Your problem was never a shortage of resources — it is that there is no definitive, clear plan for the exam. We start you off with exactly that: four completely free lectures on Esophagus and Biliary, streamed live on Zoom with open discussion and questions answered on air.

OUR VISION

Our vision

To give every surgeon the core knowledge and a career path to build on — while teaching clinical sense and surgical judgment.

We believe an outstanding surgeon is not just someone who knows a great deal, but someone who makes a sound decision with strong clinical sense. Our mission is to inspire and support every surgeon on the way to excellence.

THE PROBLEM

You do not lack resources — but there is no definitive, clear exam plan

This programme is built for the doctor who needs a definitive plan with clear priorities: what to read, in what order, what to leave out, and how each fact maps onto the shape of the question in the exam.

Too many references

Bailey, Sabiston, Schwartz, guidelines, Recalls and MCQ books all open at once, with no single map telling you where to start and where to stop.

Memorising without understanding

Plenty of facts in your head, but hard to turn into the clinical sense and surgical judgment you need to take a decision and defend it in front of the panel.

Content piling up

An unrealistic plan collides with a heavy rota, lectures and topics slip, and suddenly half the syllabus is still untouched weeks before the exam.

Questions without method

You solve a huge number of questions without seeing the traps or the reason one answer is correct — the count goes up, the understanding stays put.

What we actually do in the free phase

No overselling and no big promises — this is exactly what you get across the four lectures.

  • Two core topics covered end to end: Esophagus and Biliary Two of the most repeated topics in the exam, each split across two lectures.
  • Taught in the logic of the exam, not the order of the textbook How a question is built, and exactly what the panel is listening for in your answer.
  • Live practice on answering out loud Questions on air during the lecture, with immediate correction of how you phrase and order your answer.
  • High-yield MCQs and Recalls discussed The questions that keep coming back, where they come from, and the traps that flip the correct answer.
  • Follow-up in a WhatsApp group for colleagues A place to ask between lectures, and where links and reminders reach you first.

Free lecture schedule

All times are Cairo time, and every lecture is streamed live on Zoom.

Loading the lecture schedule

The Zoom link reaches you on WhatsApp and in the colleagues' group well before each lecture — you never have to go looking for it.

PROGRAM ROADMAP

The free phase is one piece of a bigger map

The four lectures you are registering for now are Phase 01 of a longer programme. The phases after it are paid, and we will announce their content, dates and fees when the time comes — nothing commits you to anything today.

HOW IT WORKS

An experience designed to stop the backlog and keep your rhythm

These are the parts of the experience that are already running in the free phase.

Live + Recordings

Every lecture is streamed live on Zoom, and we aim to post the recording in the colleagues' group afterwards so anyone who missed something can catch up.

Study Schedule

A published schedule with the topic and time of each lecture, so you know what is expected of you before and after it — without anything piling up.

Structured Q&A

Questions on air through the chat during the lecture, plus an organised group for academic discussion and follow-up between lectures.

Clinical Reasoning

The goal is not to memorise the answer — it is to understand the logic of the surgical decision and be able to present it convincingly to the panel.

MCQs & Recalls

High-frequency questions discussed with their sources, and the traps that make two options look right when only one is.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp and we will answer.

Yes, completely free. All four lectures are open to every registered colleague at no cost, and we do not ask for any payment details at this stage whatsoever.

Once you register, we send a WhatsApp message to the number you gave us with the invite to the colleagues' group. The Zoom link is posted in the group and sent on WhatsApp well before each lecture.

We aim to record every lecture and post it in the group afterwards, and we announce how long it stays available with each lecture. Attending live is far better, though — a large part of the value comes from the questions and discussion on air.

Unfortunately not. The content is aimed primarily at candidates sitting Part II.

Yes. The free phase is Phase 01 of a longer programme, and the phases after it are paid. Only the free phase is open right now; we will announce the content, dates and fees of the remaining phases when the time comes — and nothing commits you to anything today.

The fastest route is support on WhatsApp — you will find the button at the bottom of the page. If the problem is with the registration itself, send us your name and mobile number and we will check it for you.

Our aim is for PassBoard to be the only programme you need on your way to the exam.

There are no fees at the moment. The first phase is completely free, and the full fee policy will be announced very soon.

Yes, and our priority is to put the greatest effort into supporting candidates sitting that round.

Of course, and the programme will feel comfortable for you because you have plenty of time to prepare.

Unfortunately not. The course is sold as a complete package only, which guarantees the best learning experience through one integrated programme.

Disclaimer: PassBoard is an independent educational programme which provides teaching, a plan, resources and practice, and the outcome also depends on the candidates' own effort and commitment.
